This private residence was originally a fisherman’s cottage built at the end of the 1800’s. The property was converted to an Italian Villa by Whitfield, doubling its size and completely converting its architecture.
Whitfield developed and sourced unique details such as rare Brazilian ‘Imbuya’ hardwood floors, white Carrara marble, ‘Statuaria’ limestone, 15 foot’ entrance doors with brass lion-head knockers and custom concrete that emulates Bermuda sand. All rooms have been finished with late 18th century replicated millwork for the base boards, cornice mouldings and door architraves.
